Although the formal consultation in North Cumbria is over and the consultation in the South has not yet started, your opinions and response to our proposals for the future of health care is a vital part of what we're doing – day in, day out.

"Providing more care closer to home would mean less patient stress and reduced road journeys."

"A single point of access for emergency services would be less confusing for patients."

"Care closer to home would contribute to well-being - easier for patients to access services and would help to relieve concerns."

"Staff in health services need to be trained to provide more care in the community."

"Please ensure better transport links to the healthcare centres."

"More intermediate beds for elderly patients is a good idea so long as the number of community beds is increased."
